Dwight Carter is the owner of Brainchild in St. Louis. For the past 30 years, Dwight has successfully planned, produced, and managed special events services for fashion and the music industry. His focus has been on the fashion industry for 20 years. 

A 1995 graduate of Fontbonne University, Dwight received a BA in music business and communications and public relations. Prior to Brainchild, he worked with ALIVE Magazine and Co-Produced  St. Louis Fashion Week from 2008-2014 and until then he had been a media buyer for the Fox Theatre as well as served in a management capacity for a number of  retailers such as Limited Express and BCBG. He created and produced the highly-successful fashion events: Design Competitions “Pins and Needles”, “Fashion Anarchy'' and “GENT Menswear Designer Series”

Dwight is a volunteer and member of Fashion Group International, Lindenwood University Fashion Advisory Board, Saint Louis Fashion Fund and STL Fashion Alliance. In addition, he is an adjunct professor and advisor for Fashion Promotion and Production at Stevens - Institute of Business & Arts.
